JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Personal Job-Related Skills:
Typing 30wpm, ability to learn the procedures involved in pharmaceutical stocking, control, and dispensing.
Licensure, Registry or Certification:
Pharmacy Technician Certification and registration with the State Board of Pharmacy for Texas.
Experience:
- Prior Work Experience: One year experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Technical Training: None required.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Duties of the position require moderate periods of sitting and standing.
- Lifting up to 30 pounds when handling case goods and the visual capability to readily read prescriptions and labels.
- The ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal instructions or directions.
