Develops and coordinates a wide variety of marketing programs and activities. Serves as a media contract. Writes and edits marketing and promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and other documents; coordinates special marketing events In addition, supports healthcare foundation events, meetings, and creates foundation marketing materials. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, with at least two years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Licensure, Registry or Certification: None required. Experience: Required: Marketing and managerial experience with knowledge in computers and graphic design software. Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require intermittent walking, sitting, and standing. Some bending, stooping, and reaching are required with the lifting of items up to a weight of 40 pounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Advertising and Marketing Design, develop, and implement all advertising and marketing for the Hospital District. Design, monitor, and update advertising for changes in services and opportunities. Rate advertising for success and determine worthiness of each effort. Work with department directors to develop a marketing plan for each department. Develop press releases, photographs, videos, blog, and other materials to promote services provided by the Hospital District. Work with Administration and Human Resources to develop and implement recruiting efforts. Develop, monitor, and update Hospital District’s website. Distribution of content across all mediums- in-person, social, web, and print. Visit organizations, businesses and referral sources with marketing materials for district services and events. Share on social media, e-mail, and website according to marketing strategy Public Relations Promote departments, services, and employees in the community. Monitor progress and develop new avenues for enhanced public relations throughout the facility and surrounding communities. Works closely with administrations creating a positive image of the Hospital District within the community, and creating positive morale within the facility. Event planning, promotion, and execution of hospital district events. Promotion and execution of hospital foundation events Advertise events online, via e-mail and share marketing materials in the community Set up, manage, photograph and shut down district events. Business Development Promote innovative healthcare services in compliance with Hospital District business plan. Organize, develop, and administer public relations programs designed to enhance the awareness, interest, understanding and goodwill throughout the community, physicians, employees, and patients. Healthcare Foundation Support, design, and develop fundraising efforts for Dallam-Hartley Counties Healthcare Foundation. OTHER SIGNIFICANT REQUIREMENTS: - Grant writing and reporting - Maintains confidentiality while working with confidential matters on a daily basis. - Works with department heads, senior staff, Administration, and outside agencies to promote and market Hospital District. - Follows safety guidelines and policies for the Hospital District. - Assists with Hospital District special functions as needed. - Works with Administration and/or senior staff on special projects, assignments, and activities as needed.
